PARAGLIDING TO KICK CANCERS BUTT! My name is Anne-Marie, I've watched my dear friend Hilary battle cancer for the last two years, through her long struggle with this shitty disease I have constantly been amazed at her strength, courage, selflessness, positive attitude and her determination to kick cancers butt! ... she doesn't realise how much she hasimpacted my life (and many others) with her inner strength and attitude moving through this journey along side her.Now Hilary really needs our help to fund the treatment that she desperately requires as the next steps into her battle. Immunotherapy, is a type of cancer treatment designed to boost the body's natural defenses to fight the cancer. It uses substances either made by the body or in a laboratory to improve or restore immune system function. Immunotherapy may work in the following ways. Stopping or slowing the growth of cancer cells, stopping cancer from spreading to other parts of the body and helping the immune system work better at destroying cancer cells. Unfortunately Hilary's health insurance will not cover her for this treatment, so to help her get the medication she needs, I will be completely stepping out of my comfort zone and doing a tandem paraglide over HK. Please help me to raise the funds necessary to enable Hils to get the immunotherapy that will be the biggest chance she has to really kick cancers butt once and for all!!!
