Hurricane Relief Haiti - Cayemite

Donation protected

This is a campaign to send relief to the remote island of Cayemite (Anse-A-Macon).

My friend, Leferne Preptit is originally from the island of Grand Cayemite, a remote island off the mainland of Haiti. He has received word and photos of the devastation of Anse-A-Macon where most all housing, schools, and churches have be wiped out from Hurricane Matthew. This area is a much more isolated area of Haiti, and rarely receives the benefit from larger sources such as American Red Cross due to its remoteness.

Leferne has committed to fly to Haiti on October 23, 2016.  He will be planning to purchase items to aid in the relief of the Haitian people from the mainland of Haiti and bring them to the remote island. He also has plans to provide resources to the Anse-A-Macon community to help rebuild their community. Leferne would also like to buy water filtration systems to help clean and purify water as with the last disaster in Haiti, the earthquake, clean drinking water became as serious issue and resulted in many people losing their lives to cholera as a result.

With the significant lose of life in Haiti it is my hope that we can raise funds that will allow Leferne to show how much we care about our brothers and sisters in Haiti.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness and consideration in making a donation to this cause.

With Gratitude,
Connie Creamer
