A few months, my girlfriend Amanda Vierk went to her routine doctor appointment and what followed was anything routine.   The doctor found something that looked odd.  The following months were filled with tests, tests and more tests!!  Assumptions and guesses then got confirmed when we heard the final result- BREAST CANCER!  Amanda was told that she had an aggressive form of cancer and surgery was required.  She was a real trooper through the whole experience.  Thankfully, she is home now and recovering well.  In the next few weeks, she will start radiation, chemotherapy and hormone therapy to attack the cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes.   With her positive approach, quick wit and go- with- the- flow mentality, she is prepared for any fight that comes her way.   Unfortunately her journey will not be without its expenses.   The emotional toll will take all of her strength and the financial toll will be a large hit as well.  I am setting up this go fund me page so that we can all help her in this fight.  Your well wishes and support will go a long way to help her on this journey.  Your support is very much appreciated. All remaining proceeds will go to breast cancer awareness.
