Verdin on the Village Green - KfTP
Donation protected
It's time to get this clock ticking!
The consensus so far is gifting a four-faced Verdin clock on the Village Green. Thank you to all who have provided feedback and generous pledges! The style of clock will double the budget, but I think we can get there! This Verdin rendering is for a 4MST - there is a Model 4MST-II that would be about $3-4,000 less but is about 3 feet shorter than the one in this picture. I say let's shoot for the moon, and if our efforts fall short, we can hold additional fundraisers, or opt for the smaller version - it still is quite beautiful. And the two-face clocks always remain an option.
The most inspiring and exciting aspect about this project is that it truly honors an era we still hold dear in our hearts - your response shows just how bonded we all are by this shared experience. It is a testament to our wondrous childhood in Terrace Park, and this landmark will forever remind us and those that follow what a blessing this little piece of heaven is to those lucky enough to have been or are a part of it.
My vision is to unveil the clock next Labor Day (or another time if anyone has a suggestion). We could have the Unveiling and Dedication Party on the Green Saturday afternoon/evening and stick around for the Labor Day Festival for old time's sake.
And so, the second hand is moving on our countdown to Verdin on the Green from the Kids from Terrace Park! I thank you all for your support and cannot wait to bring our vision to life!
Tick tock!

Funds raised will be used to purchase a Verdin Clock, create a foundation with names of donors that the clock will be installed upon, and install and maintain the clock into perpetuity.
