Thursday night this precious young man, Lance Carter passed away. At 21 years young. An amazing son, brother, and best friend to many. His gracious soul was like no other. He loved America and had a heart of gold. Noone will ever know the pain he kept inside. Only to shield his loved ones, not wanting any of us to worry or hurt. Parents are supposed to pass away before their children, not the other way around. He will be missed by far more than many. This pain demands to be felt. I still hear his voice, "Momma I'm okay ". He always told me that.
