Help My Dad Receive His Dying Wish

Hi, my name is Jennifer Rando and I am asking for support to help my Dad receive his dying wish. We do not know how much longer he has. My father is currently dying of cancer and we do not know how much time he has left. It could be a week or months. However, the time he has left to spend with his wife and children and grandkids is extremely limited.
My father was diagnosed with lung cancer and lukemia within the past three years. He had surgery to remove half of his lung a couple years ago. He is on a chemo pill which I cannot pronounce to assist with his lukemia. It will not cure the lukemia, but just prolong his life a little longer. However, after all the chemo my dad went through, the lung cancer came back and is in full force. It located where they cannot perform surgery to remove it. His oncologist wants to do radiation and chemo both, but his percentage of surviving is less than 10%. Chemo and radiation treatments will only prolong his life a week or just a few more months. It is one of things I hate about cancer is that you never know. My father wants to leave this world knowing he went kicking and fighting. Knowing that every day he has left he has it with his family by his side.
My father's life has not been easy, he has been in out of the hospital for years, due to his health. Between surgeries for his neck, back and knees and he has become disabled. Not being able to work has been such a burden to him. This has defintely been hard for both my father and mother. My mother who has health issues of her own has been a wonderful, understanding and loving wife to my father. Doing what she can to support her and him.
Money has been very tight for the both of them. As there daughter I have done what I can to assit when I can. They have learned to live without luxury, without vacations, without what most people would have come accustomed to. However, they are very happy and thankful for what God has provided for them. Not once will my parents ever complain for having to go without. As they would say, "It is part of life, there are others who have less than we do. God had provided roof over our heads, clothes on our backs, food on the table and heat during the winter."
The reason why I decided to use Go Fund Me, is because my father's dying wish is to go with my mother to California and visit family and friends and feel the sand under is feet one more time, before he leaves this world. Unfortunately, I am unable to pay for the whole trip myself and my siblings are struggling themselves. I am able to come up with a $1,000 of my own money to help them spend their first and last vacation together. I would like them to be able to sighte-see and spend quality time together not having to worry about doctor appointments, surgeries or funeral arrangements during the remainder of his days. I want to give them something special that both he and my mother can reflect on; an everlasting memory that will help them get through the difficult times when his time comes to be with God.
Not knowing how much time my father has left, before winter hits Montana and he starts chemo and radiation, I would like to see my parents be able to go to California the beginning of November for a couple of weeks. Money raised will assist in gas for their vehicle, hotel rooms and food to and from their trip. They will be able to stay with family and friends once down in California.
