Susan Murray-Blake Strong

Susan Murray-BlakeSusan Murray-Blake is an amazing wife, mother, therapist, herbalist, scout mom and an incredibly wonderful caring friend.  Susan is a caregiver to many, a healer, a reiki master teacher, and now Susan is a woman fighting breast cancer.  As Susan’s friends and family we are fighting with her, fighting to keep her spirits up, fighting to support her.  We are doing our best to keep her positive and strong during her long battle.

 As I sat with Susan and her husband after their first doctor’s meeting where her future struggle was explained to her, it became apparent that Susan was concerned, not only for herself, but for the welfare of her family.  She was concerned how her family would fare while she turned her energy inward, to focus on her needs, and rest.  Susan did not want her family to struggle while she needed to spend time out of work to take care of herself.
Susan’s husband Joel is giving 100% of his energy and time to taking care of Susan, and their two sons Dale and Jeremy.  Susan and Joel met in high school and have been together ever since.  Their home is one of boundless light and love.  Dale is a strong, intelligent, high school sophomore, who does well in school, and is well on his way to becoming an Eagle Scout.  Jeremy is a beautifully imaginative sixth grader who is a creative soul like his father and as intuitive as his mother.  Jeremy is also a Boy Scout following closely in his older brother’s footsteps.
 
Susan and her family have helped so many of us at so many times; too much for me to list examples here.  While Susan is fighting cancer, there will be times when working will be difficult.  The intention of this request for support is to assist her and her family financially; allowing Susan to focus on fighting cancer and not financial survival.  We can help Susan and her family focus on her recovery by supporting them financially.  Please donate generously to show your love for Susan, Joel, Dale, Jeremey!  Thank you.
