Hello... my name is Nick Guillermo and I am reaching out to all of you. My loving wife, Hope was diagnosed with Stage 4 Leiomyosarcoma on July 10, 2016.
We are parents of 4 children, the youngest being 9 years old. My wife is a registered nurse who is beautiful inside and out. She has a positive influence on so many people, her passion to serve for many years taking care of patients with kidney problems are extraordinary. She is the major provider for our family while I pursue my degree in nursing and working part time to help with our daily needs.
We were one big happy family and HOPE was in the best of health. Our life was normal until she was diagnosed. She has been very brave to tackle this challenge and fighting hard to survive to be with us and our children.
We immediately searched for aggressive treatments outside the United States for affordability and found Modern Hospital Guangzhou. We flew to Guangzhou, China last month and had her first series of treatments which resulted to shrinking the lung tumor that was originally 7.3cm shrunk to 4.9cm and liver from 3.5cm to 2.4cm. It is indeed very encouraging to see the results.
HOPE knows God has a plan for her and praying hard for strength and support to beat this dreadful disease. We cannot do this alone without your help. Our savings have drained so fast and still have to worry on providing for our 4 children. We are blessed to be able to rely on our relatives who are helping us with our children at home in California while we are seeking treatments in China. This unexpected financial steer has been very difficult and we are humbly reaching out to all of you to please help us. We would appreciate in any amounts so HOPE can continue with her treatments.
