Update - As of June 6th, 7 days early you kind and generous souls have paid for month 3 of Mike’s life extending medication, his part being $4300 per month. Please, it must be clearly understood, this medicine is not intended to nor will it save his life and put him into remission. It is intended to extend his life and make him comfortable for the time he has left. Studies show 10.8 months with 39% of those getting up to 12 months. So we really appreciate what you have done over the last 3 months for Mike and Kelly. Our intention is to help Mike and Kelly cover this expense for that 12 months and take that burden off of them so they can enjoy the time they have left together here on Gods earth. It is and it’s what we pray for, possible that God touches Mike with an earthly healing. If not Mike is prepared for the heavenly healing he will get when his father calls him home. Update - We have raised enough money to pay for the first month of medicine and treatment for Mike, and have a good start into his second month. We feel very blessed to have been able to help him as much as we have so far. He is one of funniest, nicest, and caring people you will ever meet.

Cancer doesn't pick and choose who it will affect. Mike has endured chemo for 2 1/2 yrs. His medical expenses has used up his savings & 401K. He will remain on a pill for the rest of his life. Monthly cost is $23K, 20% is his share and there is NO OOP MAX on his medication. Which means at no point does his part stop which is $55,200 PER YEAR that is more than most people make in a year.
