Olga Calderon Chacon's Funeral Fund

Olga Chacon Calderon lost a long term battle with liver disease on October 7th, 2016 at 12:45 am. She was a small but tough beautiful woman that fought long and hard until the very end. Survived by 4 children (2 in Guatemala and 2 in California), we are asking for help to aid in covering funeral cost and expenses for this grieving family. Her last wish was to visit her homeland of Guatemala one last time, but was taken too soon. Her children, Ines and Gustavo Jr. Calderon are fighting to make that last wish come true by flying her to Guatemala for her burial. Many things factor into this possibility but a huge one being financial ties. We hope and ask the community to help make this possible. If donations cannot be made, we understand. In that, we ask you pray for the family to help find peace and heal during this tragic time. 

Olga raised 2 beautiful children (Ines Calderon, 26 and Gustavo Jr. Calderon 22) with all her might. Locals in June Lake, CA would testify that in reality, her warm and loving heart raised many more than just the 2. Olga has a heart of a lion, fights for what she believes in and loves like there is no tomorrow. I personally, am a really close family friend. Olga was the woman who took me in when I needed the most and loved my son and me as if we were her own. She would call many women daughters, and many men, son. Her kindness and love knew no limits. The community mourns the loss of a great long time local that everyone came to love.

Any donations will be given immediatly to the family to help cover funeral cost and hopefully, the cost to fly out Olga to Guatemala to be buried in her homeland, surrounded by all her 4 children and family.
