June 2010 felipe was diagnosed with testicular cancer and survived it. The following year his wife was very ill. Over the course of the past five years the family has been trying to get back on track financially.
The worst news came came on may 22, 2015 felipe wasnt feeling good, did some testing and found out he has a rare kidney cancer. Over the course of the past two months felipe cancer has been aggressive. It now has spread to both his lungs, his shoulders, and both hips. One Dr. stated he is terminally ill. He will go into surgery on july 31st, 2015 at UCSF Bakar Cancer Hospital.
Felipe is a loving father to his 3 daughters a set of 11 year old twins, his 5 year old, and his wife. Felipe truly enoys watching his daughters play travel softball. He is always there to play catch or take them to their pratices and games. Felipe is a hardworking father. Felipe is very determined to beat cancer twice.
