Help Henry get surgery

Henry. Where do I start? This guy is the love of my life. We adopted him after foster failing. Who could say no to that sweet face? He was thrown out of a moving car and rescued by Nala’s, who asked us to foster, and the rest is history. When I was 37 weeks pregnant with my daughter, Emerson, he laid his head on my belly and cried. He wouldn’t leave my side or my belly for hours. Thank goodness I listened to his cries because that saved my baby’s life. I had an emergency c-section after we discovered Emerson wasn’t moving. After 2 weeks in the level 3 NICU, Henry welcomed his baby sister home. He saved her life and became her best friend. Now it’s my chance to save his life. Right before Thanksgiving we discovered that Henry has a large mass on his spleen. It is slowly bleeding and we are running out of time. The only way to know if this mass is cancerous or benign is via surgery. An ultrasound revealed that there is no sign of cancer elsewhere in his body, which gives us hope that the mass could be benign and surgery could be curative. Without surgery the spleen will rupture and Henry will die. We have a consultation with a surgeon next week, but our vet estimates a cost of $8000. Unfortunately, like many people, that is not a cost we can afford. I don’t like to ask for help or money, but I can’t not try to save Henry’s life. I know times are tough and the holidays are approaching, but if you can help, any amount will get us closer to offering Henry a chance at life. Thank you! ❤️
