Caleb's New Ride

Caleb is a sweet 16 year old that has 3 siblings and a mother that tries to do everything for all of them. Caleb Pendley has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He was diagnosed in 2008. DMD is a muscle wasting disease that affects every muscle in his body. To date there is no cure.
Caleb stopped walking in 2009 and more recently was diagnosed with lymphadema. This causes edema and ulcers. Him and his brother just recently joined Yukon, OK Excalibur Chapter of DeMolay. He is a talented artist and video gamer. He plans to attend vo-tech for 3D animation and design. The main goal for him and his family is to have a vehicle that will support his motorized chair with a built in lift. The van that they had didn't have this and his mother has to put Caleb on her back to lift him in and out of vehicles. Caleb was the State Ambassador for MDA and his family and friends are huge supporters of MDA Oklahoma where he attends camp every summer.
