Dear Friends/Family,

It has been 10 days since Darcy shockingly left this world ... We have had a private internment service and now want to share the loss and love of Darcy with those who cared most about him over the almost 31 years of his life onPlanet Earth .

He was a son, a brother, a friend, a Marine, a student, an athlete, and most importantly a partner and father .... Eva will be 3 in late November and so will have very few memories of her dad ... We request that you share your lovely, funny, silly, stories about Darcy that you write them down and mail or email them to us before the Memorial ... So that we can incorporate these into a book of Memories for Eva and April to have as she grows up ... There will be supplies and paper to do the same at Joaquin Miller as well, but the earlier the better so that you can gather your thoughts ahead of time and not get lost in the emotionality that may happen in the moment.
