AFUO Bushfire appeal - Kolyada for Australia

The Association of Ukrainians in Victoria, Noble Park Branch is assisting the AFUO CAMPAIGN TO SUPPORT OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN NEED

The Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO) in a public statement expressed sympathy and support to all affected by the current horrific bush fires in Australia.

It acknowledges its deepest gratitude to all who are fighting these fires. And to the many hundreds of volunteers assisting.

We have around 100 hours our Ukrainian Christmas period commences -January 7, 2020.

The AFUO  objective is to raise $ 50,000 over 100 hours.

Funds will then be paid directly to the major mainstream organisation involved in the national relief effort, The Red Cross.

Our Ukrainian community knows how to pull together in times of tragedy and need.

Now is such a time.

(This campaign is only being administered by the Association of Ukrainians, Noble Park Branch in order to facilitate the collection of funds from various Ukrainian Organisations. All monies raised will be forwarded to the AFUO bank account and then disbursed by the AFUO as one collection to the Red Cross)
