Father & Son Fight for Their Life

Donation protected

Most fathers and son fight for a variety of reasons: washing a car properly, or about turning in homework in on time.  Dave and Josh Anderson are fighting for a much more serious reason.  Both are fighting for their lives.Good people- Dave and Debbie Anderson need a little help from their friends.

If you are reading this you may have been touched by someone in the Anderson Family: Dave, Debbie, Josh or Megan at some point in your life OR maybe YOU are simply being called to do a random act of kindness to pay it forward.

Life has thrown enormous obstacles at this family this past year.  Starting on December 9, 2015 Dave and Debbie's son , Josh sustained a severe traumatic brain injury while working at his job in Colorado.  Josh fought back and had multiple brain surgeries, made it out of ICU miraculously and after several months of fighting for recovery he was starting to live on his own.

Another shattering obstacle was thrown at the Anderson family. Dave, who had been in remission for ten years was diagnosed with lymphoma on July 5, 2016.  Dave immediately underwent  surgery and is now undergoing eighteen weeks of chemotherapy.

If this wasn't enough four days after Dave started chemotherapy on August 22, 2016, the Denver Police called Debbie and reported they found Josh unresponsive in his apartment after a massive brain seizure resulting in a severe anoxic brain injury.  Debbie has not been able to work in order to be with Josh in the ICU. Initially Dave put off his own doctor's appointments and care to rush down to Colorado. But now Dave has had to mostly stay in North Dakota to continue his chemotherapy.  Dave and Debbie are also working hard to try to keep life as normal as possible for their daughter Megan, a Junior at Legacy High School in Bismarck.

These events have changed Josh's and Dave's life forever. It has also changed the lives of the rest of the Anderson family-forever.  Please consider making a contribution to the Go Fund Me page created by friends for emotional and financial support.  Even if it is $5.00 or $25.00, please give what is called in your heart.

On behalf of the Anderson family we humbly say thank you for paing it forward.
