Nitza Aguilo Family Crisis
Donation protected
Friends, this is Raul W. Ferrer, USAF vet. I just found out that a friend and her family is in crisis. She was too proud to ask for help but now her situation is desperate.
Nitza Aguilo is divorced, and is the sole bread winner of an invalid mother, two sons and a grandbaby in
Houston, TX. Some of you may remember her when she lived in Dallas and was active in the Puerto Rican Association. This poor soul lost all her possessions in the Houston floods back in April and is still fighting with FEMA and the insurance company for assistance. She has no furniture and is barely struggling to feed her family. She has been living in a motel/hotel by the week which is extremely expensive. She is trying to move into an inexpensive regular apartment but needs to pay her current rent plus pay a deposit and rent on the new place. It is unbelievable that my friend is almost homeless.
All of you, as am I, are truly blessed. All of us can spare a few dollars. I know that all of you are caring and generous people. Please open your hearts and wallets to help this family out of this hole. We need your dollars immediately before she gets evicted. Your donations will be used to pay for her rent, food, and hopefully a couple of mattresses! AND, please remember her in your prayers.
This means a lot to me, not only because I know her to be a good, hard working person, but because it gives all of us an opportunity to follow the example given us by Jesus.
