Hi, our names are Mary Walker and James Rudelhoff and we are the caretakers of a beautiful herd of horses living in Andalucia, Southern Spain. We call ourselves Caretakers as we do not believe that any living being should be "owned' by another. The 'Pay it Forward Herd" consists of 11 horses of different ages, each having their own unique story and for 14 years have lived near Antequera in the Malaga Province facilitating courses in Natural Horsemanship, however, recently the owner has decided to sell the property meaning we need to find a new home. I first joined the herd in 2011 when I came to work on an apprenticeship, I then returned in 2015 to help out on the Ranch and actually ended up taking over the business when the owner moved to California. Many people in the past have spent time here learning with the herd, leaving with a new perspective and understanding of horses which leads to a stronger, deeper connection, develops communication skills with non-verbal beings and growth as a person. The programs are designed for all ages, but particulary helpful for teenagers, helping then to deal with their emotions, to channel energy effectively, developing clear focus and intent and ultimately helps them to be eager to develop themselves and reach for their dreams. The courses will not only serve individuals looking to follow a career in the equine world but also anyone looking to develop their self confidence, self empowerment, awareness, calmness, softness, empathy......the list is endless. Myself and James are searching for the perfect place where we can set up as a non-profit making organisation offering affordable courses, and some bursary places, facilitating the learning of Equine Energy Work and Mindfulness. We want to create an environment where our visitors feel safe and valued. This is where we need your help, with your generous donations we aim to secure a new home, travel and moving costs for all the inhabitants of the Ranch.....11 horses, 2 Pigs, Chickens and Ducks, 5 Cats, 2 Dogs and me and James.....and running costs for the first 3 months. We are in the process of building our website and social media connections where much more information will be available and full regular updates posted, a full gallery of photos, and a deeper explanation of a vision for the future. We called the Herd "Pay it Forward' as our vision is to pay your generosity forward to someone who would benefit from this work. This 'Fund Me Page' has been created to help generate the funds we need to secure our new home and cover the costs of moving all the inhabitants of the Ranch. Please help us to help others, thank you. Mary and James
