Cherri RED Sweet Escape™ is a dramedy about a woman who struggles with finding her purpose as she reconnects to a forgotten dream. It is a relatable human interest story with a twist of fantasy set in the suburbs of New Jersey, New York City and places around the globe that explores the power of the mind, relationships, and transformation. Cherri RED Sweet Escape™ speaks to the complexities of womanhood and our DREAMS, PURPOSE, and PASSIONS. The show taps into unlimited possibility, victory after defeat and dreams manifested.

I’m blessed to have an incredible production team who you can meet on cherrired.tv . With over a 1,000 submissions, my company found a diverse group of talented actors. Background
The show’s concept was created when Oprah held a contest to launch OWN. Remarkably, I received a note from one of the contest's producers who wrote, “I love Cherri RED™. I want to be her!" That affirmed I had something special, but the stars were not yet aligned. The development of the show continued to stir in my soul, until one day while making dinner, God said, “Write the scripts!" Good things began to snowball from there. Everything happens in its own time, and I firmly believe now is the time to release this long overdue dream. I share a small piece of my journey to affirm that all things are possible through faith, vision and living on purpose.
This project is more than a television show. It’s a movement...For dreamers whose dreams are deferred, for women whose voices are unheard, for all those who have something greater inside! It's a culmination of my life experiences as a mom, wife and business woman. I often draw inspiration from Cherri RED™ and find myself asking, “What would Cherri RED™ do?” She would say, "Get Your Cherri On™ and take action!”
