Morgan's Chiropractic Service Trip

Hello my dear friends and family! As most of you know, I am in my fifth quarter at Life Chiropractic College West in the San Francisco Bay area. I have learned so much over the past year and I can’t believe how quickly it has gone by. I have never been as amazed and fulfilled as I am now, learning the art, philosophy, and science of chiropractic. I’m one year into my program, with two left to go before I have my doctorate, after which I’ll be moving back home to the great state of Washington. I am constantly busy with a full school schedule, seminars, and work, but every moment is worth it. I truly feel that I found my calling in chiropractic and I am where I am supposed to be.
On December 17th, I will be leaving for a week-long service trip to Malinalco, MX. I’ll be going with a group of amazing students who inspire me constantly, led by Dr. John Martinez. (To learn more about Dr. John Martinez, go to http://www.pneumachiropractic.com/). We will spend the first couple of days in a seminar, after which we will go into the community to serve.
Chiropractic is a natural form of health care that uses spinal adjustments to correct misalignments. When the spine is misaligned, it causes nervous system dysfunction by interfering with the connection between mind and body. This interference makes it harder for us to adapt to our environment and to the stress of daily life, preventing us from reaching our full potential. The goal of the chiropractic adjustment is to remove this interference, allowing the nervous system to freely flow, allowing optimal mind-body communication and facilitating healing.
To make this trip a reality, I need your support. It will cost me about $2000 total, which will cover flights, ground transportation, food, lodging, and other expenses. My goal is to raise $1500 and I will pay for the rest of the trip by working as many extra hours as I can.
If you are able to support my cause, it would mean so much to me. I would love donations to this trip instead of Christmas gifts this year. It brings me so much joy to be able to spread the love and facilitate healing in others through chiropractic.
