Cash Campbell & Family

Cash Campbell is smart, energetic, and adventurous 4 year old little who, back in mid-August, started describing to his parents a "beeping" that he was feeling in his heart. After several weeks of doctor visits and no explanation of what was causing the "beeping" episoides Cash was referred to a Pediatric Cardiologist. On Thursday September 22, 2016, Cash and his parents met with Dr.Malpass and were given the devastating news that Cash has sinus venosus atrial septal defect. Sinus venosus atrial septal defect is a congenital heart defect where a hole in the upper part of the artial septum is present. This type of defect is rare and will not close on its own.  Repair of the sinus venosus atrial septal defect is more complex because of its location. Cash and his parents will travel to The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston begining on November 16th, where Cash's surgery will be performed by Dr.Bradley on November 18th. As you can imagine, this has been devasting news for the Campbell's. No parent wants to hear that their 4 year old little boy will have to undergo major heart surgery!

Please pray for Cash, Cayce,(mom), Josh(dad), and Lily(sister) as they try to navigate through this diffcult time.

Many have expressed the desire to help, so this GoFundme account has been set up for the Campbell family. As you can imagine, an unexpected surgery, extended stay out of town, and unexpected time off from work is going to leave the Campbell family with a lot of financial burden and stress. This money will go towards any medical expenses, travel/lodging, and other expenses to help make this trying time for the Campbell's a little less stressful.
