Ellen Sledge College Savings Fund

I'm Brian Sledge, younger brother of Kevin Sledge, who passed away unexpectedly in 2011.  On behalf of family and friends, I'm trying to raise money for a 529 college savings fund for Kevin's daughter, Ellen Kathlyn Sledge, who is a 6th grader at Green Elementary in Allen, Texas, where her mom Carrie is a teacher.  Ellen is a delightful girl, does great in school, and is an up-and-coming soccer player and golfer--just like her daddy.  We hold an annual Kevin Sledge Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament to raise funds for this important purpose, and I have made a personal matching contribution to the college savings fund equal to the amount of funds raised each year.  If you can't join us for the 2017 golf tournament at Twin Creeks in Allen this year on Saturday, November 18, would you please consider making a contibution to this important purpose by November 18?  Kevin Sledge touched the lives of many in Mesquite, Dallas, at SMU, and across the country in his golf career.  Let's help make college an affordable option for young Ellen.  It will mean so much to Ellen, Carrie, the entire Sledge family, and of course to Kevin watching from above.  Thank you sincerely for your consideration.
