Chris'sDental Surgery and Dentures

Hi everbody this is Chris mncpageant Lansdale a.k.a 'Pooh Bear'.    I am now living in Niagara Falls, Canada and since moving here 8 years ago I have gone through medical emergency after medical emergency, lost my ability to work, lost my business, ended up on Ontario Disability Pension (up to age 65) and then retired onto CPP-$366.22 and OAS-$1,120.12, out of that my rent is $1,024.12.  As you can see there is not much left to pay for my drugs and food.  I have never smoked, drank, used drugs (other than prescription), don't own a car, or have a girlfriend.  I think that I have stepped out of my apartment 10 times in the past 2 years, I spend most of my time in bed because my feet are swollen and constantly shooting extreme nerve pain.  I have an electric chair to help me move around but unfortunately the elevator in my apartment building will not hold the combined weight of it and myself.  I really need an electric bed to help the night pains that stop me from sleeping, but that I am not asking help for here.  My dire need right now centres on my teeth.  I take a lot of different drugs for my three chronic illnesses and a lot of these cause very bad side effects in the human body, at age 69 most of these are coming to roost; my kidneys are rapidly dying but right now that doesn't hurt, what does hurt in a major way are the rotton teeth in my mouth.  For over 20 years I have used puffers in my mouth, even though I swilled as instructed after each puff 2 years ago my teeth started breaking off at the gum line, that didn't hurt so much but in the last 3 months the roots of the various broken teeth have started to rot and fester.  The pain is unbelievable and trust me I know pain.  I went to a dentist (even though my dental coverage such as it was, was cut off when I turned 65)  So with no coverage the dentist took pity on me and told me the cheapest way to go.  He did not charge me for X-rays and gave me a written estimate of $2,500 for dental surgery in the hospital, that means that OHIP paid for the anesthetic.  Because the situation was so bad he promised the earliest surgical date.  He called yesterday and told me that he could squeeze me in on March 23rd,  but warned me that I could not put this date off because the hospital was ending the privileges for common dentists to operate.  If I miss that date I will have to go through an Oral Surgeon and almost double the cost.  I have gone to every government agency and every charity to try a raise money.  The March of Dimes will loan me $1,000 only if I can prove that I can pay it back.

I am old and I am dying (not as fast as I hope) but this constant pain in my mouth, in my ass (enlarged prostate), and in my feet is driving me insane, many nights seriously considering ending it all.  The mouth though is multi serious though, not only the pain, the inability to eat solid foods, but the poisons that are flooding my body from those teeth are causing harm to my entire body.  Oh yes I am also an insulin dependent diabetic, a very expensive disease to take care of.

I feel so guilty bothering you all, do not put yourselves out, anything you can spare I will be so thankful for.  I am not a great communicator so I haven't kept up with so many of you but I still remember and love all of You.
