Donation protected
Hi my name is Garrett Petteway and I'm raising money for my close friend whom I call brother and have know since I was in Kindergarden. His name is Marcus Taylor, and on August 30 2016 he was diagnosed with a rare form of blood Lukemia that has attacked his internal organs.
I'm sad to report that Marcus passed away on Friday October 7th from complications of his cancer. He leaves behind has wife, a registered nurse Marisa whom he has been married to for 17 years, along with their three children Miles 19, Blake 15, and Christopher 12.
Marcus was an Executive Program Director at a local YMCA in Washington DC . He worked with 100's of inner city youth each day and, created programs for youth development and empowerment. He has been awarded for achivements of excellence in Community Support, excellence in Community Outreach and excellence in Program Development. Making a positive impact on a D.C. inner city community!
Marcus was hospitalized since 8/30/16. His job medical benefits have been caped out and the medical costs have surmounted tremendously.
On behalf of the Taylor family, I am asking eveyone who reads this page to have a sympothetic heart and provide a generous donation to the "Marcus Taylor Family Fund"!
I want to thank you in advance for your support for this amazing cause and for thus amazing person.
I truly believe that a special blessing is in store for all that give!
"Give and it shall be given unto you!"
