Fighting for Giovanni

Hello, everyone! My name is Theo, and I am writing this from my mother's facebook page for my nephew, Giovanni.

Giovanni was a celestial blessing born here in San Jose, California with his mother, grandmother, grandfather and 3 uncles on January 24, 2016.  In March, shortly after the anniversary of his birth, he moved to Texas with mother to live with his father.

For those of you outside our close circle of friends and do not already know, Giovanni was hurt in a traumatic accident on May 25, 2016 that left him with a cranial fracture and severe brain damage.

Since then, Giovanni has been attained by Child Protective Services in Texas, and our family in San Jose has been fighting to see our beautiful baby back into the hands of those that love him! We have not seen Giovanni since his accident (he is now 7 months old and has been with a surrogate family unfamiliar to him) due to Texas CPS standards, however we have a lawyer ready to file motion for a new case that can bring Giovanni into the custody of his grandmother.

Our goal is to raise to 6,000 which is the amount necessary to file motion. All money will be allocated for legal fees. This means the world to us and we know money is tight everywhere but even passing this message along would MEAN THE WORLD TO OUR FAMILY!
