Little Miss Sunshine ☀️

I am setting up this page to help my friend Wendy. We have been friends for many years, don't ask me how many, more than 10, less than 20.  Last week Wendy was diagnosed with colon cancer at the age of 33. On Friday she will have surgery to remove a large tumor and decisions will be made on how to proceed from there. As far as anyone knows, the cancer has not spread and the prognosis is good. We won't know anything for sure until they are able to get in there and see what's going on. What we do know is that Wendy is incredibly strong and stubborn and cancer really doesn't stand a chance against her. I know you hear this all the time, but Wendy truly has a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone, no questions asked. She does not easily accept help, she's incredibly independent. She has always worked multiple jobs and gone to school in order to provide for herself and others. The day has finally come where she can not stand on her own and do this without accepting help and support. She will obviously not be able to work while she fights this battle. Every dollar and every share will mean the world to her. Her brother and sister in law wanted more than anything to set this up for her but have plans they can not change and will be out of the country for business.  Their words are below.

Hello family and friends.  maAs you may know, Wendy Kerley,  33,  received a shocking and devastating diagnosis of colon cancer last week and will be going in for surgery on Friday, May. 31st to remove a large obstructing mass from her colon.
     Now, anyone that is friends with Wendy knows that she is the strongest, spunkiest, kindest, sassiest and yes, the most stubborn woman...and will not  ask for help!!  There is no doubt that she is going to kick cancer's ass and come out stronger than ever, however during that fight she will not be able to work and we all know Wendy loves to work!!  We hope to have more answers after the surgery as to recovery time and any other warfare that she may need to help completely annihilate this wretched disease!  
     Since this is so sudden and unexpected with so many unknowns, any donation would take so much stress off of Wendy and help her focus on her fight!  All donations would go towards her medical bills and all of the day to day bills that she will not be able to stay on top of.  
     This is urgent in so many ways and any amount donated will make a huge impact on her recovery and help her win her war on cancer!
