While the world welcomes the new year with lights, songs, and laughter, we begin a new year burdened with pain, fear, and unanswered questions. Why did the war end, yet the sounds of planes still echo, and the shelling never ceases? Every day brings us more suffering and anguish, for we have no homes to warm our children. We live in uncertainty, and a new year begins—a new year of oppression and despair. We have no decorations, no celebrations… only destroyed homes, children waiting for warmth that never comes, and weary hearts trying to endure another day. Please, do not abandon us, and do not deprive us of your support, which allows us to live with dignity.

I am Lina from Gaza, a mother of three children living with my family of 10. I was displaced from Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip in the first week of the war due to the heavy bombing that was day and night. I was pregnant since the beginning of the war and recently gave birth to my baby girl. I was exposed to many difficulties due to malnutrition, starvation, unhealthy food and polluted water. My husband is trapped in the northern Gaza Strip in very harsh and difficult conditions. I am the sole breadwinner for my children and the responsibility is very great. We lost everything we owned, our source of income, our home and everything. We no longer have anything. The situation is constantly deteriorating. We are living a very difficult life now. So please donate if you can, so that my children and I can live a better life.
