Funeral Expenses for Elvin Stevens

Monday evening at around 7:00 PM Elvin's Mother arrived home to find that her son was not responding to her call or touch.
Elvin was recently involved in an altercation where he had intervened in a domestic dispute and during his efforts to shield a woman from harm was attacked by two males. He was stabbed several times. He survived this incident. Elvin had been convolesing at home since being released from the hospital on September 6 and all indications were that he was recovering from his wounds. At this moment we are not certain as to why Elvin passed away. We hope to know one day soon what caused Elvins heart to fail. Melissa (Elvins sister) reported he had posted around 3:41 pm on Facebook. There is a gap of time from 3:41pm until 7:00pm where there was no direct contact with family from Elvin. Suspicions at present are that he died from complications from one or more of the stab wounds he recieved in the September Altercation. Please keep our family in your prayers and say an extra prayer for Elvin's 10 year old son Vincent.

**The proceeds will go towards the funeral service; any balance will be placed in a college fund for Elvin's son Vincent.
