2Spirit Sanctuary's mission is to establish a sacred environment where 2Spirit and LGBTQIA+ people come together to heal, reconnect with Mother Earth, and restore spiritual balance through the wisdom of ancient Indigenous practices. 2Spirit Sanctuary is lead by founder Shawn Shenandoah, Onondaga Snipe Clan; with spiritual support from Chief Clint Shenandoah, Onondaga Snipe Clan.

2Spirit Sanctuary Founder, Shawn Shenandoah, writes: “In these challenging times, particularly as we navigate the complexities of the current administration, it has become increasingly vital to create a safe and sacred space for Two Spirit and feminine energies. This space will allow us to reclaim our ancestral practices and deepen our connection with ourselves.

While we work to formalize 2Spirit Sanctuary into a registered tax-exempt organization, this campaign serves as critical seed funding to support spiritual training, construction of a ceremonial structure, and other expenses related to building and conducting ceremony.
