Help Me Dance in Spain

I am Rhiannon Davies, a 27yr old contemporary dancer from Sydney, Australia.
I am trying to raise much needed to funds to assist me in getting to Spain in July to participate in the Metamorphosis dance workshops run by ex-Netherlans Dans Theatre and Opera National De Lyon dancer Iratxe Ansa.
Metamorphosis is an invitational only workshop, which sees professional dancers from all over the world auditioning for a place. The calibre of dancers that will be in attendance range from dancers who have completed full-time training and continue to train, to professional dancers who have been in companies across the world. Therefore, this means so much to me to even be considered for this workshop as I have been only dancing one-two days a week for the past two years, due to work commitments and have no formal dance training.
Coming from a background with no full-time training and to be accepted in such a workshop, is a HUGE privilege and opportunity to work alongside other dancers, challenge myself physically/creatively, and grow as an individual and dancer. I have had the honour of working with Iratxe at Austinmer Dance Theatre where I was able to perform her piece 'The Other Body', (which is featured in the above video) and I truly believe that working with her in this short time has already seen my technique and dancing improve so much. So I would love to work more extensively with her to see how much more I can grow and develop.
I am asking you to help and support me in raising money to assist in paying any of the upfront costs, as they are quite expensive and have previously prevented me from being able to attend an invitational only workshop with Iratxe last year. Any amount helps, even if its only a small donation, in being able to have this unique opportunity and develop my choreographic skills and dance technique further. Money will be used to help with the cost of registration, flights and accommodation costs which are expected to cost around $5500AUD.
I would appreciate the love and support to help me in this endeavour and this VERY RARE opportunity. And I will be eternally grateful for your help and assistance in donating and sharing this page.
