Hello Everyone,
My name is Leonard DeVoe and I am launching this campaign on behalf of my wife. Netosha was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD), a genetic disorder, in 2011. Several members of her family have also been diagnosed with PKD. After having our children, Netosha started to show symptoms of PKD, and after a few rounds of testing, she was confirmed to have it as well. After living with PKD for several years now, her body is starting to deteriorate and her kidneys are failing. She has been placed on the transplant list, but it is estimated that it will take approximately four years to get a new kidney. In the meantime, she needs frequent medical tests and medication to help sustain her body and her failing kidneys. After she goes through the transplant process (when and if she gets a kidney), she will have to have take medication for the rest of her life, along with undergoing continuous testing to monitor the new kidney. As you probably know, medical costs are astronomical and constantly growing. We are humbly asking for donations from anyone who feels called to give to help cover the medical expenses that we will now be facing for the rest of Netosha's life.
