This site is for my son Henry who has undergone a bone marrow transplant at the City of Hope in Duarte, Ca.

He was diagnosed on July 19 of this year with Aplastic Anemia and had the bone marrow procedure done in September. While his case is considered very serious, he has shown great strength in his fight to beat this. The treating doctor said he has not seen a patient at his stage make it to the bone marrow treatment. My son is not one to back down.

With numerous blood and platelet transfusions, hospital stays and other medical cost, we are hoping to raise some monies to assist him with the added expenses and of course, his normal day to day cost including his rent. He is going to be out of work for a period up to one year and this has placed an extreme burden on him and his wife Audrey.

While this is not something that is easy for me to do, I am asking for help in raising funds for my son. These funds will be used to pay any medical cost that come in from the current hospital stay, 30 days, and the remainder of the 100 days of treatment and doctor visits that will have him going twice a week for medical care. The funds will also be used to cover the rent, utilities and other bills that he is unable to meet on his own since he is out of work and my daughter-in-law will be providing care for him.

I would like to say thank you to those that have already provided some funds to my son that were used for his first stay at the hospital and doctor bills.
