Hi, my name is Lisa Turkleson. My husband Kenny Turkleson has been hospitalized since mid June. He has acute pancreatitis with 2 pseudo cysts that have become infected. He is healing but it is an extremely slow process. He has 2 separate drains, is on high dose IV antibiotics along with other prescriptions including blood thinners due to the clots he has developed since being in the hospital. He has received no salary or disability payments since his illness began. He had not been at his current job long enough to qualify for the company disability and we are in the process of working with the state to see if he qualifies for that. In the meantime the loss of his wages are starting to really hurt. I am currently working two part time jobs and the pay is not enough to cover our basic expenses let alone the $4800 that is due for his medical care. I am taking this step as a last resort. I have always marveled at the generosity of others and would appreciate any and all help you can afford to give.
