MAF Technical Evaluation

Hi there!
If you're reading this... you probably already know who I am :) I'm that crazy, short, blonde girl who likes flying planes, sleeping in her car, and going rock climbing.
What you may not know is that I've felt led to serve people overseas since I was seven years old. When I was sixteen, God opened the doors for me to learn how to fly, and I have been working on obtaining the necessary qualifications to join an aviation missionary organization for the past seven years.
I went to school for three and a half years at San Diego Christian College, where I learned how to fly and recieved all of my training up to the level of Flight Instructor. At the end of my first year, I visited a Missionary Aviation Fellowship (MAF) base in Papua, Indonesia, where I had the opportunity to see first hand the work that MAF does around the world through aviation.
I graduated at the end of 2014, and moved back home to Florida to flight instruct at Paragon Flight Training to gain the necessary experience to eventually apply for a missionary organization.
And now, my dreams have begun to materialize. My application for Missionary Aviation Fellowship was just accepted this past week and I have been invited to a Technical Evaluation in Idaho at the end of the month (just three weeks!!)
This Technical Evaluation (TE) is very expensive and it does not guarantee that I will be officially invited to become a part of the organization, but it is a huge step in the direction that God has been leading me.
I want to invite you to become a part of my journey. The technical evaluation will cost around $2,800. This will include tickets to and from Idaho, the cost of the plane and simulator for the evaluation, and medical expenses to determine my fitness for the job.
If I am accepted, I will be able to take my skills as a pilot to serve people in the most remote areas of the world through aviation. I wil be working with MAF to provide a lifeline, a safe and reliable form of transportation, where there previously was none. And more importantly, I will have the opportunity to share with these people the incredible and transformative love of God!
I'm so excited for the journey God has me on, and I believe that He will continue to provide for me in the same way He has in the past!
As much as the financial contributions will help to get me there physically, more importantly, I ask for your prayers. God is so faithful, and I believe prayer has great power.
Thank you for all your support!! I love you all :)
I've attached a few pictures from my journey and a link so that you can see what MAF is all about!
