In a pickle....

Hi everyone!
A lot of you may know this already but Char Perfilow ( you know the tall red head that has always been there for everyone) had a pickling accident. As you can see by the picture of her tootsies she was burn't severely,  so much so that some of the damage  was right down to the tendons and she has and still is going through a lot! Between skin grafts ( she will even be in the medical journals as they have never performed skin grafts like this before nor do they know how to categorize these burns as it was caused by pickle brine) , doctor appointments, physio, replacing all her footwear as she won't be able to wear " regular shoes" for at least 2 years. I've learned from this that even trying to do the every day to day stuff that we take for granted like walking, taking a shower, just getting out has been a chore, not to mention the fear of anything that may burn ( even making a cup a tea can take a toll on her mentally) Since mid- August, Char hasn't been able to work and even though she has had moral support and folks stopping by, she needs our help financially. Her benefits from work ( when they kick in) will just cover some of her bills but nothing else. Like food, parking for weekly appointments at the hospital, new footwear, walking appliances, bandages, etc.
She has ALWAYS been there to support everyone else from a shoulder to cry on, to calm us down, to dropping everything in a moments notice if you needed her AND helping people out when they are down and out and she has never asked for anything in return! I'm hoping that with her large hell bound family and other friends/co-workers and even strangers who know and may be able to relate to how a severe burn can affect our lives both the physical and mental pain, that WE can step up for her, rally around her and help her out just to even tie her over so she can focus on recovering and getting back on her feet ( no pun intended) and not have the extra burden of finances to contend with too. Even if it's just a couple of dollars ( this site allows debit) it all adds up! Please share and let's help Char! It's going to be a long recovery for her and its time that we give back to the gal who always gives.
