Kathy Rittger's Medical
Donation protected
UPDATE OCT 14: Kathy Rittgers is scheduled to come home on Tuesday Oct. 18! Lots of physical therapy is scheduled. Still unable to put weight on left leg. Right arm still in cast.
Kathy Rittgers was in a single car accident in Ringgold, Georgia on Friday, September 23, 2016 while on her way to Mass.
Kathy is the kindest, most giving person I have ever known and is always looking to find the best in others. She cares for her father who has Parkinson's Disease, and cared for her mother who had Alzheimer's.
Kathy is the kind of person who has a swing set in her yard just in case the neighbor's children want to swing. She takes time to visit the elderly and sick in the community.
Kathy is forever unwavering in her belief in the good in people. Her faith guides her in every aspect of her life.
The injuries she sustained in the wreck: punctured lung, broken shoulder, broken ankle, broken knee cap, broken wrist, 16 broken ribs, and multiple lacerations including her spleen. She has been in Intensive Care for 10 days at this time.
I am asking for those who know Kathy or know someone like Kathy to donate what you can to assist in paying medical bills that are soon to be piling up. She will require extended rehabilitation services.
Kathy and her family have suffered many losses in life that no one should have to bear. They have lost two sons and they also have a daughter who has dedicated her life in the order of the Sisters of Mercy and they have a son in college.
I am one of Kathy's 4 sisters and she has always been the glue that held our family together. We would all appreciate any contributions you could make. Thank you.
