Help for Kirsty!

Our beautiful Kirsty, wonderful mother, daughter, sister and friend and an amazing, devoted teacher was out walking her beloved dog one night in April 2012 in the UAE, when she was very sadly hit by a car and sustained life changing injuries.
Since the accident, especially in the last 3 months in the UK, Kirsty has been undergoing a wide range of rehabilitative treatment, and as a result she has gained back some functional skills.
She is now living in the UK close to her family in a rehabilitative care centre, and is in need of some key items to improve her every day life, help her to gain more skills, and allow her to keep in touch with her family & friends all over the world.
So many of Kirsty's friends & family are not in the UK and therefore haven't been able to visit or help her in any practical way. We have decided to start this fundraiser for Kirsty to raise as much money as we can.
We would like to buy her an iPad or tablet with several apps as she loves listening to podcasts and music, and is now able to use Skype. She needs a special bracket to hold the tablet too. Her eyesight has been compromised so she now needs practical visual aids, mobility aids and a new supportive armchair to name just a few things.
This is a way we can all contribute and help improve Kirsty's new life where her parents are there to make sure she has whatever she needs. The money raised here would help not only Kirsty but it would also lighten the load on her family. Please dig deep and help us to help the beautiful amazing Kirsty (She celebrates her birthday this week on October 6!)
