On September 28, 2016 my brother-in-law Tony Wayne was clearing leaves out of the gutters on the roof of their home as he has done many times before. This time everything changed when he fell from the roof breaking his spine in three places. Tony is a self-employed plumber and father of two amazing kids. Stephanie (his wife - my sister) is also self-employed and taking time off to see to his care. His initial surgery went well but do to the severity of the injury it is likely to be a long and difficult recovery including a stay in a rehabilitation hospital to learn to walk again. It is unknown yet if he will be able to return to being a plumber.
I have known Tony since we were in high school in Vienna, VA. He has a big heart, is a good guy, and has an infectious laugh. Stephanie and Tony are hardworking people but between the medical expenses and future loss of income, this situation could be devastating. They have two children to support, house payments to make as well as the everyday expenses. Tony remains in the hospital for now while those of us who love and support them are trying to find ways to help until he can once again help himself.
Please help us support Tony and Stephanie. Any donation would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Tricia Hooverson (Tony’s sister-in-law)
