On September 27th, Kristine gave birth to a 3 month premature baby. A few days earlier, Kristine had been transported to Henrico Dr's in Richmond VA, after her water broke at 28 weeks.
After four days in the hospital, Kristine went into labor and baby Knox was born, weighing in at just 3 pounds. Baby Knox is will have a long stay in the hospital and is facing complicated issues. He is suffering from 2 brain bleeds that may require surgery and was diagnosed with a staph infection.
The day after Kristine was admitted to the hospital, her partner Preston, was wheeled down to the ER and admitted to the hospital with intussusception, caused by his Crohn's Disease. He is still in the hospital and will be for some time.
Preston was to start a new job this past Monday and it is unknown with his current health status, when he will be able to start work. Kristine is a hair dresser, and she is living full time at the hospital, so she has no income at the moment. They have 3 other children at home waiting to meet their new brother.
I have set up this fund to help with their household expenses, and to help with their current mounting medical bills. Please pray for the baby and her entire family during this difficult time.
