The Davis Family of Shelton, CT (Diana, Jeff, Joe, and Dominick; along with their dog Lucy) suffered a house fire on 10/01/2016. The entire family has been displaced from their home for what will be approximately 8-12 months. Their family consists of Diana, her husband Jeff, two sons Joe (14 years old) and Dominick (12 years old), and their dog Lucy. Unfortunately, they lost their beloved hamster in the fire. They have left their home basically with the clothes on their back. They have been temporarily relocated to a hotel until their insurance company sorts-out the matter, but they will be without a home for an extended period of time. There is nothing from their home that they could salvage due to fire and smoke damage; meaning they are in desperate need of basic day-to-day living essentials from clothing, to personal hygiene items, to food, to plates and eating utensils, to backpacks for the boys, to school supplies - you name it. They don't even know how to get their next meal, let alone what clothing they can put on their backs and be able to send their children off to school. This fund is to hopefully give them an opportunity to get some footing to begin to find a way to live from day to day until they finally can return to their home and start over again. This family has done a lot for the community of Shelton, CT; especially my sister, Diana, who has played a large active role in the PTO for many many years. I ask you to help them out.
