This fund is to help make the transition from mainland school to island university a bit smoother. Every single cent will be used to help with my entire first year at University of Hawaii at Manoa while I get settled. Yes, a total of $2000 is being asked, but I'm requesting it in smaller more manageable chunks ($500, the extra $50 is to help with the GoFundMe fees).

$625 -- Covers plane ticket, deposit, and dorm fee. Met!
$725 -- Covers textbooks, supplies, and all previously listed items.
