Hello my name is Ben, im a husband father and now carer for my beautiful wife and best friend I can't do life without her she's my rock and now I'm hers more than ever

I appreciate you taking a moment to read my family's story.

Just before Christmas my beautiful wife jody was given the crushing news ,she has breast cancer, the tumor is aggressive and she needs surgery as soon as possible.

Surgery was performed and we were told the results showed the type of cancer is hormone fed jo was ER+ and HER2+, grade 3 stage 3 not great news to hear

we were told chemotherapy, immunotherapy and radiation therapy will be her treatment plan And will be 18 months long

Jo was booked in to have a PICC LINE put in her arm for IV access as jo has a debilitating needle phobia/anxiety

It's been hard!

Chemo has been really tough Jo's only half way through the chemotherapy and will still endure 11 cycles of immunotherapy and radiation treatments.

Seeing her so sick is unbearable at times I feel helpless cancer and chemo is unforgiving

Loosing her hair and surgery has been mentally challenging for her

Not being able to be fully present daily is crushing for her , her family is her world especially her children

This cancer diagnosis has hurt this family in more ways than one. it's been difficult for our children and for then to understand why mums so sick all the time.

We are struggling with daily expenses and medical costs of treatments, medications, travel every week to the hospital for treatments and oncology appointments, scans, ultrasounds, blood works, GP appointments ,cost of fuel, and prescriptions is a huge strain undergoing treatment has become financially overwhelming, your support in this challenging time would make a significant difference in Jo's/ our journey towards recovery.

I'm reaching out to humbly ask if you would consider donating any amount towards daily costs, fuel and medical expenses radiation therapy is not all covered and the out of pockets isn't a cost we can afford

Jo will be on herceptin infusions for 2 years and hormone blockers for 10 years 3 monthly echo scans as herceptin can enlarge the heart and can cause stoke

6 monthly iron infusions due to anaemia bought on by the chemotherapy

We have so much further to go
