I must admit to being reluctant to ask for help .
But I do so with the knowledge that I am honored with many friends & family who also would appreciate an opportunity to help out even though you can't do it physically yourself...because of time or distance. I am also very hopeful and grateful in advance - THANK YOU!
Every now & again , as a 'maturing' man in a wheelchair I find myself confronting a challenge or obstacles that have a hidden or not so obvious cause that sometimes takes a while to figure out.
For quite a while I have had low-grade skin problems and alot of discomfort in my tush. I tend to put it down to the chronic situation my body finds itself in. But I also realize that some of the equipment that I use has been exacerbating this.My old Mr Potatoe-Head wheelchair in particular .
Fortunately,with the help of Paddy,Susan & Liam! we were able to retire the Potatoe monster which had ZERO suspension and ressurect another power-chair that has improved things alot,particularly for hitting the streets.
I spend alot of time at home though, and really need a
more medically capable powerchair that can Tilt & Recline to give me adequate weight-shifts and the versatility of a great suspension too as a buffer on our funky San Francisco streets. These chairs regularly come up on CRAIGSLIST & EBAY for $5000 and sometimes alot less. I am confident with your help
I can find one at a great price that meets those needs.
A few years ago,you generously helped me purchase a reclining Shower/Camode chair - Thanks Again to all of YOU!
But even that great chair needed an expensive air-cushion seat to make it usable.I have repaired it many times and would like to have a back-up of it as the company tell me it can't be repaired much more.
The air-cushion I use on a daily basis on my wheelchair is also showing wear and without these...................

I called this GoFundMe! !FALL FORWARD! as I am
hoping to raise enough to help with these large items and hopefully generate some extra income to help with all the regular day-to-day items we all face and some of the extra ones that I need to cover .I could really use a boost and some wind in my sails !
This leads me to say that the hardest things about the road my life took is I feel it removed me from
# 1 Really getting to know alot of you (friends & family) who have criss-crossed my path!
and
# 2 getting my groove on at alot of great parties !
but at least I can say we made it to some of the BEST!
