Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to you all because my family and I are facing a really tough time, and we need your help.

We’ve been working as hard as we can, but we’ve only been able to pay half of our rent this month. We’re at risk of eviction because we’re month-to-month, and if we don’t cover the rest, we’ll have to start all over again.

I also want to explain that, to get through the month, I took Jake to his sister’s wedding in Yucca Valley. I felt a lot of pressure—I didn’t want to say no because it was such an important event, and I didn’t want to be seen as the bad person in the family.

After the trip, things got even harder. I lost a job I had just started because I spoke up about some negative behaviors at work. Now, I’m unemployed, and on top of that, our kids have special needs, and they rely on critical services.

I’m doing everything I can to find a stable full-time job so we can keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. This situation has been a huge setback, and I’m determined to set firmer boundaries in the future.

If you can, we humbly ask for any support—even just a dollar. Every bit helps us get closer to that rent goal. Please know we’re sharing this from a place of honesty, and I hope our vulnerability can inspire others to ask for help when they need it.
