Home Going Ceremony For Brandon
Donation protected
My name is Malcolm London & I'm here on behalf of my big cousin Brandi Edwards, who has been the Def Comedy Jam VHS tape to my living room VCR. Her smile & humor are what I recall when reminiscent of my best childhood memories. I'm deeply saddened though because yesterday I listened to her on the phone as she told me how her 8-month year old baby boy Brandon passed away on Wednesday. I've seen some powerful things before but nothing more powerful & inspiring than hearing her speak about how grateful she was for even just having Brandon for eight months. See y'all, he wasn't supposed to make it pass the first week he was born. Brandi describes him as a fighter. Which is exactly what he is. She got to hold him & watch him grow & watch him hold a bottle in his own hands. As painful as something like this is, my cousin is praying & is holding her family together. I have so much love & admiration for my cousin.

Even as strong as she's being, I still need anyone & everyone reading this to support her in this moment. I'm asking the communities I've been apart of, I've supported & I've been supported by to help my cousin in this time of need. I've been blessed to be able to gain family outside of the blood one I have and I'm asking that family to come through for my family. Whatever you can donate to help Brandi & her husband pay for Brandon's home going service & cover some of the medical cost she's had over the last year. Everything helps. Brandi has two beautiful daughters as well, who’ve had to say goodbye to their baby brother. The funeral will be next weekend. The day Brandon passed Brandi said she saw the biggest rainbow she’d ever seen since she was a little girl. Lets help keep that glow going through this heavy rainfall. Thank you in advance for your love & generosity.

God said, “This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations: I have set my rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.”
