Irene Krawiec Memorial Fund

Those who knew Irene Krawiec describe her as a bright sunny day.  Irene was one of the most positive kind people I have ever known.  Irene passed away on Saturday, September 24th after a long struggle with her health.  Irene is survived by her husband Ray Krawiec, her son Quinn age 14, and her son Kyle age 18.  This gofundme page was created by Irene's friends to provide an outlet to those who would like to help her family. The funds will be set aside in a trust fund for her sons to access in the future for their education or other needs. 

Irene and her family have met many challenges over the years, but despite everything, Irene was always smiling and positive.  She and her family continued to have a positive outlook on life and supported others along the way, while they continued to experience their own struggles.  Her oldest son Kyle was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia in 2009.  After he courageously conquered the disease, the family continued to support children who were battling Leukemia or Cancer through the Keyser Family Pediatric Cancer Center at Advocate Christ Hospital.

We are hoping that those who knew Irene will help to continue her positive outlook on life and help to support others.  For those of you who didn’t know Irene, we wish you would have had the chance to meet this outstanding woman and we hope that you can adopt her positive outlook on life and pay it forward.  Learn from her lesson on positivity and kindness and spread it to others.
