Support Mom's Recovery After Serious Accident

Donation protected
Hello,

As some of you may know, my mom was in a rollover RZR accident in San Felipe, Mexico. She was driven from San Felipe to El Centro, California. She was then transferred to UCSD Hillcrest in San Diego, California, to the Trauma Center. She has fractured her C3 and C5 vertebrae in her neck, which was pushing on the spinal cord, causing her arms and hands to not function properly, and broke her right wrist. She was in trauma ICU for 4 days after having surgery to fuse her C3-C5 vertebrae in her neck. She is currently in the trauma progressive care unit.

I am actively trying to get on FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) for up to 12 weeks, which is unpaid leave. I am currently staying in the Bannister House, similar to a Ronald McDonald House, behind the hospital. I am going to need assistance with food, lodging, medical bills for mom, and daily living here in San Diego.

Please continue to pray as she has a long road to recovery. She is still in a lot of pain, but we are progressing every day. I will post updates, as I receive them!

We appreciate any and all support!

Thank you!
