I am doing this for a friend.
Steve Wilson and his Wife Jelena Markovic Wilson have been together since they were teenagers.
They eventually wed on October 2nd, 2013.
The young happy couple took the next step in their happy future and had a baby boy, Eli Wilson, on January 31st of this year.
Thier future lives together were now set and the outlook was a happy one.
Unfortunately for all those who experience tragedy. Life seems to have no discrimination or concern for fairness for when and where tragedy will strike.
Throughout the pregnancy there were some minor complications that the happy couple dealt with in stride and after the birth of their baby boy ( Emergency C section ) more issues were present with Jelena.
On Aug 21st Jelena was admitted to Grand River Hospital in Kitchener for ongoing medical concerns.
On Sept 2nd the doctors found masses and was diagnosed with Cushings syndrome to explain some of the issues she was having.
On Sept 10th Jelena was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer with an intermediate grade.
There was still hope since this cancer was determined to be operable.
They now needed to wait for an oportunity to perform the operation and see how well the hormone treatments were received by the cancer masses.
On October 6th, the night before the surgery was to take place to remove the masses, Jelena suffered bleeding to the brain and was rushed to Hamilton General to undergo emergency brain surgery.
They removed part of the skull to relieve pressure and she is now in a coma.
Steve is a devoted husband and father and is trying to care for his 8 month old Boy and also be there for his wife and keep the hope of reuniting their happy family once again.
During this ordeal, Steve just can not work and is struggling to put things together and cope with all that is going on.
I put a total on here because it made me.
The truth is that the Wilson family could use any help they could get whether that comes in the form of Money, Diapers or just your prayers.
Please help to Save the Wilsons.
