Hi My name is Manny and I was recently diagnosed with Non Hodgkins B-Cell Lymphoma.  I found out I had cancer a week before I started a new job as a Social Worker for the County of Sacramento.   While my new employer has been supportive and accommodating as far as granting my days off for chemo and doctor's appointments, I have not been there long enough to have accrued any PTO/sick time.  With that said, I will not be paid the days I need to be away from work for Chemo or due to Chemo.    

I have a beautiful wife and handsome son that I am fighting for... that are an awesome source of support but any additional financial assistance would really help us out as we begin our journey.  

Today was the 1st day of my Chemotherapy regimen.  And I intend to beat this thing...I can do all things in Christ who gives me strength Phil 4:13
