My step-dad, Jess, passed away Saturday following a 5-year battle with Primary Progressive Aphasia, a form of Frontotemporal Dementia. My mom has been his full time caretaker for over 3 years while continuing to work full time. Her strength while caring for him has been remarkable. For that reason, my sisters and I wanted to create a gofundme to help ease the financial stress during this time and allow her to assist family and friends with travel and lodging expenses.
